Do you
know what condition your boat and it’s safety equipment
is in right now?
If your
boat could talk, would it praise you for you being well
prepared or curse you for you for being so negligent in
your preparation for the winter season?
Vessel
safety checks give you the chance to get re-acquainted
with your boat and it’s safety equipment.
There are approximately 50 boats owned and operated by St. Louis Sail & Power
Squadron members. Add to that, your many boating friends that may need
to shore up their love life with their boats.
That’s
a lot of boating love affairs.
Some
of SLSPS members’ boats are moored at Carlyle Lake,
Illinois, Duck Club Yacht Club, Harbor Point Yacht Club,
Lake of the Ozarks, My River Home, Palisades Yacht Club,
Sioux Harbor, Woodland Yacht Club, and Yacht Club of St.
Louis.
The time
for Vessel Safety Checks is early spring at commissioning
time. That’s now!
